Eleanor McKenzie
Eleanor Louise McKenzie was a Canadian track and field sprinter in the late 1940s and 1950s, born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay events, and won the Velma Springstead Trophy as Canada's Outstanding Woman Athlete of the Year in 1949. McKenzie dominated Canadian championships from 1949 to 1953, setting personal bests of 12.1s in the 100m and 25.1s in the 200m at the 1952 Olympics.[1][2]
