Eleanor Clift

Eleanor Clift is an American journalist, political commentator, and author born in Brooklyn, New York, who began her career as a secretary at Newsweek in the 1960s and rose to become one of the first female reporters there, later serving as White House correspondent, deputy Washington bureau chief, and contributing editor.[1][2][3] She has covered every presidential campaign since 1976, appeared as a panelist on 'The McLaughlin Group,' and contributed to outlets like The Daily Beast.[4][5][6] Clift authored 'Founding Sisters and the Nineteenth Amendment' (2003) and co-authored two books with her late husband Tom Brazaitis.[1][2][5]
