Elaine Beale

Elaine Beale is an author who has published two novels, including *Another Life Altogether*, which was featured in *Oprah Magazine* and praised by *Boston Globe*, *Lambda Literary*, and *Publishers Weekly*. She won the 2007 Poets & Writers California Writers Exchange Award and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Her latest book is *Write for Wellness*, a guide to expressive writing for health, and she teaches creative writing at The Writing Salon in Berkeley while living in Oakland's Bay Area.[1][2][4][5]
