Elaine A. Scott

Elaine A. Scott is an acclaimed author of over thirty nonfiction books for children, including *Space, Stars, and the Beginning of Time* (an ALA Notable Children’s Book) and *Poles Apart* (a CBC-NCSS Notable Social Studies Trade Book); she was recently inducted into the Texas Institute of Letters and lives in Houston, Texas.[4][5]
