Eisele Carolyn

Carolyn Eisele (1902-2000) was an American mathematician and historian of mathematics who spent nearly 50 years teaching at Hunter College. She is renowned for her expertise on Charles Sanders Peirce, particularly in demonstrating the importance of mathematics in his philosophical and logical work, and she edited the collection 'New Elements of Mathematics' beginning in 1976.
