Egmont Books Ltd., part of the Egmont Group, is a UK-based children's book publisher and a subsidiary of the Danish media corporation founded in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen as a printing business named after his mother. Starting from humble beginnings in Copenhagen, it has grown into Scandinavia's largest media group, specializing in books, magazines, films, and more, with a focus on children's content. In 2021, Egmont Publishing rebranded to Story House Egmont, expanding into media, agencies, and e-commerce.
