Edwyn Bevan

Edwyn Robert Bevan (1870–1943) was a British philosopher and historian best known for his work on the Hellenistic world and ancient religion. He taught at King's College, London, wrote influential studies including The House of Seleucus and Jerusalem under the High Priests, and later gained recognition for Symbolism and Belief.
