Edwin Welch

Edwin Welch (1838–1916) was an English naval cadet, surveyor, photographer, newspaper proprietor, writer, and journalist who notably discovered John King, the sole survivor of the Burke and Wills expedition. He was known for his work in journalism and exploration-related writing during the 19th century.
