Edwin Meese

Edwin Meese III is an American attorney, law professor, and author best known for serving as the 75th United States attorney general from 1985 to 1988. He was a key figure in the Ronald Reagan administration, including serving as counselor to the president, and has been associated with promoting constitutional originalism.
