Edwin Mansfield

Edwin Mansfield (1930–1997) was an American economist and professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught from 1964 until his death and later directed the Center for Economics and Technology. He was widely known for his research on technological change and diffusion of innovations, as well as widely used textbooks in microeconomics, managerial economics, and econometrics.
