Edward Robert Bulwer Lytton Lytton
Edward Robert Bulwer Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton, was an English politician and colonial administrator who served as Viceroy of India from 1876 to 1880. He was also a poet and writer, publishing under the pseudonym 'Owen Meredith'. His tenure as Viceroy was marked by significant events including the Great Famine of 1876–1878 and the Second Anglo-Afghan War.
