Edward Cook

Sir Edward Tyas Cook (1857–1919) was an English journalist, biographer, and man of letters who founded the Westminster Gazette and edited several newspapers. He is best known for his biographies of figures such as Florence Nightingale, John Delane, and Delane of 'The Times', as well as handbooks on the National Gallery, Tate Gallery, and Greek and Roman antiquities in the British Museum.
