Edmund De Chasca

Edmund de Chasca was a prominent scholar of medieval Spanish literature, known for his critical edition of 'The Poem of the Cid' and studies on the juglaresque art in the 'Cantar de Mio Cid.' He also authored 'John Gould Fletcher and Imagism' and edited works such as Pedro Antonio de Alarcón's 'El Sombrero de Tres Picos' and Lope de Rueda's 'Comedia de los Engañados.' A festschrift, 'Hispanic Studies in Honor of Edmund de Chasca,' was published recognizing his contributions to Hispanic studies.[1][2][3][5][6][7]
