Jon Halliday is an Irish historian and writer born in Dublin, Ireland, who specialized in modern Asia and later became known for works on Mao Zedong and other political subjects. He was educated at Oxford University and has also written on film and popular culture, including a long interview with director Douglas Sirk. Peter Fuller was a British writer and critic; together, Halliday and Fuller coauthored The Psychology of Gambling.
