Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) was an American clairvoyant known as the 'Sleeping Prophet' for his ability to diagnose illnesses and provide insights on health, reincarnation, Atlantis, and spirituality while in a trance state. A devout Christian with little formal education, he gained national fame in 1910 through a New York Times article and founded the Association for Research and Enlightenment in 1931. His thousands of documented readings influenced the New Age movement and holistic medicine.
