Eddie Harmon-Jones

Eddie Harmon-Jones, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, specializing in social and affective neuroscience, cognitive dissonance, and the motivating aspects of emotions such as anger and desire.[1][2][3] He earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Arizona in 1995 and previously held professorships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Texas A&M University before joining UNSW in 2012.[1][3] His research, supported by major grants and recognized with awards like the 2012 Career Trajectory Award from the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, explores the interplay of cognition, emotion, and motivation using behavioral and neuroscience methods.[4]
