John A. Palmer is most plausibly Edward Palmer (1809–1889), a Canadian lawyer, landowner, land agent, politician, and judge from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He was born on 1 September 1809 in Charlottetown and died there on 3 November 1889.[1]
