Ed Emberley
Edward Randolph Emberley (born 1931) is an American artist and illustrator best known for his children's picture books, including the Caldecott Medal-winning *Drummer Hoff* (1967, written by his wife Barbara) and the innovative *Go Away, Big Green Monster!*. He has authored and illustrated over 100 books, with his famous Drawing Book series teaching children to draw using basic shapes and lines, selling more than 10 million copies worldwide.[1][2][4]
