Easterine Kire

Easterine Kire is an Indian Naga poet, novelist, translator, and cultural chronicler from Kohima, Nagaland. Her writing, often rooted in the lived realities and indigenous culture of Nagaland, includes poetry, short stories, children’s books, and novels; she is widely noted as the first published novelist in English from Nagaland.
