Earlene Fowler
Earlene Fowler is an American mystery novelist best known for her Benni Harper series, featuring a crime-solving museum curator and ex-cowgirl in the fictional town of San Celina. Raised in La Puente, California, by a Southern mother and Western father, she worked as a part-time children's librarian before landing a three-book contract with Putnam in 1992 after years of writing unpublished short stories. She lives in Southern California with her husband Allen, surrounded by quilts and cowboy boots, and has received multiple Agatha Award nominations and one win for her quilting-themed mysteries.
