E. Balagurusamy

Ellappa Balagurusamy is an Indian educator, engineer, and prolific author known for his influential textbooks on programming such as Programming in ANSI C and Object-Oriented Programming with C++. Born to a poor farmer in Tamil Nadu, he overcame hardships to earn advanced degrees from IIT Roorkee, served as Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Member of the Union Public Service Commission, and IT Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Government, and currently chairs the EBG Foundation in Coimbatore.[1][2][4][6]
