E. Annamalai

E. Annamalai is a distinguished linguist and scholar specializing in Tamil language and linguistics. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Chicago in 1969 and has held academic positions across four continents, including at Yale University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, the Max Planck Institute, and the University of Melbourne. He has taught Tamil language courses and courses on political and public-cultural dimensions of language in India.
