E. A Carter

Asa Earl Carter (1925-1979) was an American segregationist and Ku Klux Klan organizer prominent in the 1950s for his activism. He later became known as a Western fiction novelist and co-writer of George Wallace's famous 1963 pro-segregation statement, 'Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.'
