Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
Norman Vincent Peale (1898–1993) was an American Protestant clergyman and author best known for his 1952 bestseller *The Power of Positive Thinking*, which popularized the concept of positive thinking. He served as pastor of Marble Collegiate Church in New York for 52 years from 1932 to 1984, founded the magazine *Guideposts* with his wife Ruth, and co-established the American Foundation of Religion and Psychiatry. Peale was a dynamic speaker, radio broadcaster for 54 years, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.[1][2][4]
