Dr. Guy Stevens

Dr. Guy Stevens is the Chief Executive and Founder of The Manta Trust, a global organization dedicated to the research and conservation of manta rays and their relatives. He began his manta research in the Maldives in 2005, founding the Maldivian Manta Ray Project, which identified over 5,000 individual manta rays, and later established The Manta Trust in 2011 to expand conservation efforts worldwide. His work has led to national and international protections for manta rays and the creation of several Marine Protected Areas.
