Dr. Charles Whitfield MD

Dr. Charles L. Whitfield was an American physician, psychotherapist, and author known for his work on childhood trauma, addiction recovery, and related mental health topics. He taught at Rutgers University, served as a consultant and collaborator with the CDC on ACE research, and wrote best-selling books including "Healing the Child Within"; he died on December 9, 2021.[1][2]
