Douglas R. G. Sellick

Douglas R. G. Sellick was born in Bridgetown, Western Australia, in 1936 and studied at the Bishopsgate Institute and the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. He is an affable Albany anthologist and author known for seven mostly nautical-themed books, working as a freelance history and literary researcher. His works include 'Albany Unravelled,' 'Castaway: Remarkable True Stories of Survival,' 'Antarctica: First Impressions 1773-1930,' and 'Venus in Transit: Australia's Women Travellers, 1788-1930.'
