Douglas J. Morin

Dr. Douglas J. Morin is a conductor and music educator from Indiana, serving as Director of Athletic Bands at Vanderbilt University, where he directs the Spirit of Gold Marching Band, Anchor of Sound Basketball Band, and University Concert Band. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Wind Conducting from the University of Washington. Prior to his current role, he spent twelve years as an educator in North Carolina, earning awards for his concert bands, marching bands, and jazz ensembles.[1][2][4]
