Dotti Enderle
Dotti Enderle, born January 11, 1954, in Killeen, Texas, began her career as a school enrichment teacher and professional storyteller before transitioning to writing children's books in 1994 after her original stories succeeded in magazines.[1][4] Despite being labeled a reluctant reader as a child, she has authored dozens of books, including the 'Fortune Tellers Club' series and picture books like 'Grandpa for Sale,' earning awards such as second place in the Houston Storytellers Guild Annual Liar's Contest.[1][2][6] Her family's frequent moves allowed her to live in diverse places like farms and historic homes, enriching her storytelling.[3][4]
