Doris Meissner
Doris Marie Meissner is a former Commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), serving from 1993 to 2000 under President Bill Clinton. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Migration Policy Institute and has previously held leadership roles at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Born in 1941, she is a prominent expert in U.S. immigration policy.
