Doreen Ingrams

Doreen Ingrams (born Doreen Constance Shortt) was a British author, editor, and former actress who lived in Hadramaut in the 1930s and 1940s, where she carried out ethnographic research on South Arabia. Her work with her husband, Harold Ingrams, contributed reports, articles, and books on the region and its history and society.
