Doreen Crick

Doreen Crick was born in Saint Kitts and later moved to Nova Scotia, Canada, where she graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1975 and worked for much of her life as a psychiatric nurse. In retirement, she became an author and published *Seawater: Women’s Voices from the Shores of the Caribbean Leeward Islands*, a work highlighting Caribbean women’s stories.
