Doreen Alsen

Doreen Alsen is a contemporary romantic comedy author who transitioned from a career in opera singing, conducting, and music teaching to writing because she preferred happy endings over operatic tragedies. She holds a master of music degree in vocal performance from Ithaca College (1985) and remains an active conductor while creating stories about intelligent, independent people finding love. A member of Romance Writers of America and other romance groups, she has authored several books including her debut novel.
