Donna Loughran

Donna Loughran is an Australian school principal and educator in New South Wales who overcame significant early educational challenges to become one of the most respected teachers in the state.[1] Born and raised in a housing commission estate in Shalvey in Sydney's west, she failed Year 10 due to truancy but later completed her Bachelor of Education in Humanities in 1997.[1][2] She held teaching positions at various high schools in western Sydney, served as deputy principal at Campbelltown Performing Arts High School for three years, and became principal of Doonside Technology High School in 2016.[1]
