Donalyn Miller
Donalyn Miller is an award-winning Texas educator and author known for championing self-selected independent reading and fostering positive reading communities among young people. She has taught upper elementary and middle school language arts and social studies, and is the author or co-author of several influential books including The Book Whisperer (2009), Reading in the Wild (2013), and Game Changer: Book Access for All Kids (2018). She co-founded The Nerdy Book Club blog and serves as a national literacy consultant, workshop presenter, and education writer.
