Donald Meltzer

Donald Meltzer (1922–2004) was a renowned American-born British psychoanalyst and a leading figure in the Kleinian school of thought, known for his influential work on autism, projective identification, and the aesthetic conflict. He made significant theoretical contributions to psychoanalytic theory, particularly through his development of post-Kleinian concepts influenced by Wilfred Bion, and authored numerous seminal books including 'Explorations in Autism' and 'The Psychoanalytical Process'.
