Donald E. Knuth

Donald E. Knuth is an American mathematician and computer scientist renowned for his authoritative multivolume series 'The Art of Computer Programming' and for creating the TeX typesetting system. He is often called the 'father of the analysis of algorithms' and received the Turing Award in 1974 for his contributions to computer science. Knuth is a Professor Emeritus at Stanford University.
