Donald E. Kieso

Donald E. Kieso is a Professor Emeritus of Accounting at Northern Illinois University who taught accounting for 30 years and became the first Peat Marwick Professor of Accounting in 1986[1]. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree from Aurora University, and is a Certified Public Accountant[5]. Kieso is an acclaimed author of accounting textbooks considered the gold standard in accounting education[1] and has served as a Director of Castle BancGroup Inc. since 1993[4].
