Dodie Osteen

Dolores 'Dodie' Osteen was the co-founder of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, alongside her husband, Pastor John Osteen, in 1959. She was the mother of Joel Osteen and affectionately known as 'Mama Dodie' for her faith-filled life and ministry influence. She authored books including Healed of Cancer, Choosing Life, and If My Heart Could Talk, and passed away at age 91 in 2025.
