Dirk Philipsen

Dirk Philipsen is an economic historian and political economist at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and a senior fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics. His work focuses on modern capitalism, sustainability, wellbeing economics, and alternatives to GDP-driven growth, and he is the author of books including *We Were the People* and *The Little Big Number*.
