Dilworth Parkinson
Dilworth B. Parkinson is a linguist specializing in Arabic, particularly Egyptian Arabic, who received the 1982 Malcolm H. Kerr Dissertation Award for his work 'Terms of Address in Egyptian Arabic' from the University of Michigan.[1] Born in Ogden, Utah, and raised along the Wasatch Front, he graduated from Ogden High School and attended BYU, where he later delivered speeches on language learning.[2][6]
