Diane Bailey is an American author and editor born in 1966, specializing in non-fiction books for children and young adults on topics ranging from science and sports to celebrities. With over 30 years as a freelance writer and 15 years as an editor, she has written around 40 books for young readers and assists novelists for children and teens. She graduated from Syracuse University, lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her two sons and two dogs, and works as a freelance book doctor.
