Diane Anderson-Minshall
Diane Anderson-Minshall (born March 19, 1968) is an American journalist and author renowned for her work on LGBTQ+ topics, including roles as the first female CEO of Pride Media, publisher of The Advocate, Out, and other magazines.[1][2] She co-authored the memoir Queerly Beloved about her husband's gender transition and the Blind Eye Mystery series, and in 2025 became the first woman Executive Director of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics.[1][2] Her career includes editing On Our Backs, founding Girlfriends magazine, and executive positions at The Advocate and HIV Plus.[2][3]
