Diana Nyad

Diana Nyad is an American author, journalist, motivational speaker, and world-record long-distance swimmer who became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage in 2013 at age 64. She previously gained national attention in 1975 for her record-breaking swim around Manhattan and has authored several books, including her bestselling memoir 'Find a Way'.
