Diana Fishbein

Diana H. Fishbein is a prevention scientist, neuroscientist, and behavioral scientist whose research examines how trauma, poverty, racism, family dysfunction, and other environmental stressors affect brain development and mental health in children and adolescents. She is a senior research scientist at the University of North Carolina’s Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, a part-time research faculty member at Penn State, and founder and director of the National Prevention Science Coalition to Improve Lives.
