Deryn Lake
Deryn Lake is the pen name of British author Dinah Lampitt, best known for her historical fiction and the John Rawlings Mysteries. She was born in Ilford, Essex, on 6 March 1937 and has lived in Hastings, East Sussex.[2][3][5]
