Derek Wilson
Derek Wilson (1935–2024) was a British historian and author who graduated from Cambridge and spent several years as a history teacher and broadcaster in Kenya before becoming a full-time writer. He published over 50 books on historical topics, establishing himself as a leading expert on the Tudor period with works on Henry VIII, the Reformation, and other 16th-17th century subjects. He also wrote historical thrillers under the pseudonym D.K. Wilson, including the Thomas Treviot trilogy.
