Derek Jeter
Derek Sanderson Jeter, nicknamed 'The Captain,' is a former professional baseball shortstop who spent his entire 20-year MLB career with the New York Yankees, winning five World Series titles and earning 14 All-Star selections. Born on June 26, 1974, in Pequannock, New Jersey, and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020 and later pursued careers as a businessman, philanthropist, and MLB executive, including as CEO of the Miami Marlins from 2017 to 2022.[1][2][3][4]
