Derek Hook
Derek William Hook (born 1972) is a professor of psychoanalysis at Duquesne University and an extraordinary professor of psychology at the University of Pretoria and University of South Africa, specializing in Lacanian psychoanalysis, post-colonial theory, and the psychology of racism[2]. He is the author of monographs including Foucault, Psychology and the Analytics of Power (2010), A Critical Psychology of the Postcolonial, and Six Moments in Lacan, and serves as a founding editor of the journal Subjectivity[2][3][6].
