Dennis Myers

Dennis Myers was a veteran Nevada journalist who reported for outlets including KTVN TV-2, KOLO TV-8, Sparks Tribune, Reno Magazine, and the Reno News & Review, where he served as an award-winning news editor. Born in San Gabriel, California, he moved to Reno at age five, covered the Nevada Legislature and politics extensively, served as chief deputy secretary of state in 1987-88, and co-authored the children's history textbook Uniquely Nevada. A champion of progressive values and civil rights reporting, he was posthumously inducted into the Nevada Newspaper Hall of Fame in 2020.
